The journal “International Economic Policy” adheres to the principles of open access and provides free and unrestricted access to the full texts of all published materials. All articles published in the journal are available in open access immediately upon publication (no embargo).

Authors retain copyright of their publications without transferring exclusive economic rights to the journal. Submission of a manuscript implies that:

  • the author(s) grant the journal a non-exclusive license to publish, distribute, and archive the material;
  • the article is published under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) license;
  • any further use of the material by third parties is permitted provided that:
  • proper attribution to the author(s) and source is given;

Authors have the right to:

The journal allows authors to archive their work at different stages (Postprint (after peer review, before typesetting), and Version of Record (published version).

Depositing locations:

  • institutional repositories;
  • personal websites; 
  • academic social networks (e.g., ResearchGate, Academia.edu);
  • open archives.

Conditions:

  • mandatory reference to the official publication in the journal;
  • indication of the CC BY-NC 4.0 license;
  • non-commercial use only.

No embargo applies.

The journal strives to comply with key international standards of Open Science and publication ethics, including:

  • Open Access principles (BOAI, Berlin Declaration);
  • recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE);

Reuse Policy

Third parties may:

  • use materials for educational and research purposes;
  • translate and adapt articles;

  • provided that proper citation is given, a link to the journal is maintained, and the use remains non-commercial.

The following are prohibited:

  • use of materials in commercial products without permission;
  • misrepresentation of content or authorship.

Publication Fees (APC)

The journal does not charge fees for submission, peer review, or publication of articles.

Archiving and Long-Term Preservation

The journal ensures long-term preservation of materials in digital archives, content backup, and continued accessibility regardless of platform changes, in accordance with its Archiving and Long-Term Preservation Policy.

Metadata and Citation Standards

  • each article is provided with stable bibliographic metadata;
  • the use of DOI is recommended (where available);
  • articles are accessible for indexing by search engines and scientometric databases.

Ethical and Legal Assurances

Authors guarantee that:

  • the material is original;
  • it does not infringe upon third-party copyrights;
  • it does not contain plagiarism or falsification;
  • all sources are properly cited.
